A new expansion is coming to hit roguelite BALL x PIT this autumn. The release date for Risen Ballbylon was announced by Devolver Digital at the Tokyo Game Show. Check out the new release date trailer below!

There’s a ton of new content arriving in the Risen Ballbylon expansion. There are four brand new battlefields to explore, each accompanied by a new boss. Within these battlefields, players will experience over 40 new enemies, and there are 45 new passives to get to grips with too.

Risen Ballbylon also contains eight new characters, which promise to transform gameplay. These include:

• The Sentinel: Capable of aiming in any direction
• The Stonewaller: Warp balls to the other side the first time they hit a wall
• The Right Hand Man: Deal double damage when balls hit the right wall, but only half when they hit the left

As well as the new battlefields, enemies and characters, players will also be able to utilise 24 new balls, featuring “the quake-triggering Kaiju ball, the curse-inflicting Misfortune ball and the lethally spiky Hedgehog ball.“

Last, but not least, the Risen Ballbylon expansion also contains 20 new buildings for players to expand their bases. There’s a circus tent, soup kitchen and even a floating fortress to make your base village the best it’s ever been!

The BALL x PIT: Risen Ballbylon expansion arrives on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, PC and mobile on November 12th and will cost $6.99.
