Ubisoft has delayed Rayman Legends Retold from its previously planned October 1 release to December 3 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Ubisoft Store.
The game has already gone gold, but Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan are taking additional development time before release. A Game Overview trailer is scheduled for September 22.
Rayman Legends Retold revisits Rayman Legends with updated visuals, a new storyline, and fully voiced cinematics. Rayman, Globox, Barbara, Grand Minimus, and Murphy return.
Alongside returning stages, the game introduces a sixth realm and new gameplay sequences. These include sections where players ride dragons, new music levels, and challenges in the Cave of Trials. The Glade of Dreams has also been reworked with additional characters and events.
Players can play alone or in local co-op with up to four players. Kung Foot also returns as a competitive side mode with revised controls, additional power-ups, and customizable rules.
Pre-ordering any edition includes the Hoodlum Havoc Pack, featuring Rayman and Globox costumes based on Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. Purchasing Rayman Legends Retold will also add Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition.
