Being stranded on a space station is probably bad enough without discovering that time itself has decided to stop playing by the rules. Rivage is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PC and PlayStation, with Play Anywhere support, dropping players into the A.R.E.S. space station after a mysterious phenomenon leaves researcher Miranda completely alone.
Published by Raw Fury, Rivage is a first-person sci-fi puzzle adventure built around exploration, deduction and a mystery that isn’t going to solve itself. The station is full of clues, but working out what they mean is very much your problem.

Welcome Aboard A.R.E.S.
The 25th century was supposed to be a time of progress. Humanity has moved beyond its solar system and discovered VESTA, a planet that could potentially provide a new home.
That promising future takes a rather nasty turn when the A.R.E.S. station is caught in a powerful phenomenon while orbiting the planet. Miranda wakes up to discover that the station has been transformed into something altogether stranger, with time, space and physics no longer behaving as they should.
And her crew? They’re gone.
The Station Is Your Biggest Clue
Rivage isn’t simply about wandering through corridors until you eventually stumble across the next objective. The A.R.E.S. station is designed to be explored and examined, with seemingly ordinary objects potentially providing another piece of the puzzle.
Old workstations, research data, personal belongings, journals and encrypted messages all remain behind after the crew’s disappearance. The more Miranda uncovers, the more she can begin to piece together the lives of the people who once called the station home.
That human element is important because this isn’t just a mystery about a strange scientific phenomenon. The crew had their own ambitions, fears and relationships, and those stories have been left scattered around A.R.E.S. for Miranda to discover.
In other words, the station has plenty to say. You just need to work out how to listen.
When Solving A Puzzle Means Understanding The Story
The puzzles are woven directly into Miranda’s attempts to escape, rather than simply being obstacles placed between one story sequence and the next. You’ll need to repair systems, manipulate mechanisms and deal with challenges involving gravity, magnetism and the flow of time.
The difficulty gradually increases, while optional side puzzles provide additional challenges for anyone who enjoys being given something particularly awkward to stare at for ten minutes.
There is also the K9 System, which lets Miranda record discoveries and retain certain puzzle solutions. That’s particularly useful given the game’s time-loop premise, allowing you to spend less time repeating something you’ve already figured out and more time investigating what has changed.
A Mystery Waiting To Be Untangled
The deeper Miranda gets into A.R.E.S., the more questions appear. What happened to the crew? What exactly has happened to the station? And why has this strange phenomenon left Miranda trapped in a seemingly endless loop?
Rivage is now available on Xbox Series X|S (Xbox Store), PC and PlayStation, with Play Anywhere support, giving players a chance to step aboard A.R.E.S. and start pulling apart its mysteries.
After all, in Rivage, your mind is the key – and the station isn’t giving up its secrets easily.
