Beloved Ubisoft Game Series Makes Surprise PlayStation 5 Return Next Month

A beloved game from Ubisoft is set to make a return next month on the PlayStation 5. The game will also be available on other modern consoles, such as Nintendo and Xbox. This new standalone title will be the 18th mainline installment in the Just Dance franchise.

The upcoming game’s official description reads, “In Just Dance: Decades of Hits, songs, visuals, and an all-new Adventure Mode are all designed to immerse players in the spirit that made each decade unforgettable. From the funky ‘70s disco floors and the electrifying ‘80s rock scene to the glossy 2000s pop and beyond, travel through time and share the joy of rediscovering iconic moments with friends and family.”

What is in the Just Dance: Decades of Hits trailer?

The trailer for the upcoming Just Dance game introduces 35 new tunes from six different generations, along with a new adventure. Mamma Mia by ABBA, Uptown Girl by Billy Joel, It’s Tricky by Run-DMC, Wannabe by Spice Girls, Feel Good Inc. by Gorillaz, Manchild by Sabrina Carpenter, and NUEVAYoL by Bad Bunny are among the many songs introduced in the trailer.

There are also different modes introduced in the upcoming game. For instance, the Adventure mode allows players to follow Lyra, Dr. Gigavolt’s daughter, on a playful journey through time to rescue her father. Additionally, there are six themed worlds, mini activities, and more that gamers can use to unlock exclusive awards.

Just Dance: Decades of Hits supports up to six players and can be controlled with a phone. It also features a party mode with changing rules and a workout mode that tracks calories burned with each dance. Gamers who owned previous editions of the game can access all their songs in the new game. This also includes songs from purchased Music Packs, and songs available through an active Just Dance+ subscription.

Just Dance: Decades of Hits launches on October 13, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, followed by a Nintendo Switch 2 release on November 10, 2026.
