Onyx: The Dark Grip is a Switch 2 exclusive from Bloober Team

Bloober Team, who have been on a little bit of a run lately with their Silent Hill efforts, are bringing an exclusive game to the Nintendo Switch 2.

ONYX: The Dark Grip is a handheld-exclusive horror title that makes the Switch 2 not simply just a screen and controller, but a physical window into another world. In the game, you touch the screen to manipulate the game world. There are also tilt controls, and the world can also be affected by the microphone. According to Bloober Team, these “aren’t simply mini-games or optional gimmicks. They are fundamental to survival and to the relationship between the player, The God and The Vessel.”

It’s giving some Nintendo DS vibes, and that’s a compliment. ONYX: The Dark Grip is out sometime in 2027.
