Sometimes, the most satisfying adventures don’t require saving the world or defeating a single enemy. Woodo though? Well that invites players to build charming wooden dioramas one piece at a time, watching each creation fill with colour and life. What’s not to like?
Developed by Tiny Monks Tales and published by Daedalic Entertainment, this cosy puzzle experience is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
The Standard Edition is priced at £15.49, while the £19.00 Endless Summer Edition includes additional content for those wanting to take a little more of Woodo’s world home with them.

Piece Together A World Full Of Charm
Woodo revolves around assembling miniature wooden scenes, with each puzzle requiring you to find and place objects in their correct locations. This isn’t simply a case of following a straightforward sequence, either. You’ll need to rotate and explore the three-dimensional environments to uncover hidden pieces and work out where everything belongs.
As each object clicks into place, the diorama gradually transforms. Colour returns to the scene, animations spring into action and small surprises help make every completed section feel meaningful. The tactile presentation aims to recreate the satisfaction of putting together a real wooden toy, giving the experience a physical quality despite everything taking place on screen.
The puzzles also adapt to your pace, with assistance available whenever you need a little help. Gameplay changes alongside the narration, creating an experience designed to remain welcoming rather than turning relaxation into another source of pressure.
Nostalgia In Miniature
At the centre of Woodo’s story are Foxy and Ben the frog, whose friendship unfolds through a series of connected dioramas. Each scene captures a different moment from their shared adventure, with the world around them gradually revealing its story through objects, animations and a friendly narrator.
The tone is deliberately warm and nostalgic, looking back towards a time when outdoor adventures, simple discoveries and everyday experiences could feel extraordinary. Funny characters and silly animations add a little humour, while the narration provides a comforting presence as you move between each miniature setting.
Rather than relying on complicated storytelling, Woodo aims to find meaning in the small details. The result is an adventure focused on friendship, creativity and the uncomplicated joy of making something with your own hands.
What Comes With The Endless Summer Edition?
For £19.00, the Endless Summer Edition includes the main game alongside the Supporter Pack and Soundtrack Pack. The additional content includes:
- The original soundtrack featuring 39 songs.
- 3D-printable models of Foxy and Ben.
- 2D print templates for a village map poster and stickers.
- Two additional cursor-hand colours – Foxy Orange and Ben Green.
- A special sticker on the in-game map.
Woodo is available now on Xbox Series X|S (Standard Edition via the Xbox Store), PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).
With its tactile puzzles, miniature environments and focus on childhood wonder, Woodo offers a quieter kind of adventure – one where the pleasure comes from watching a small world take shape in your hands.
